Online Information & Comments and update checks require a working connection to their supported services. Local scans do not need to be repeated merely because an online request failed.
Check basic connectivity
Confirm that Safari can open the Doinno website and another secure website. Verify the Mac’s date and time, because an incorrect clock can prevent secure connections.
Temporarily test without a VPN, filtering proxy, custom DNS, or network firewall rule if your organization permits it.
The information button does not appear
Open Settings → Privacy → Online Services. If Online Information & Comments is set to Disabled, its information buttons are hidden. Choose Ask Next Time or Enabled, then return to a supported item.
Not every row supports online information. An unsupported item, incomplete metadata, or temporary service error may also prevent an explanation.
The confirmation does not appear
Set Online Information & Comments to Ask Next Time.
Enabled opens the feature without the preflight confirmation. It does not perform automatic lookups.
Update information appears wrong
Check whether the app uses the App Store, direct download, beta, or another release channel. A version on one channel may differ from another.
Use the application developer’s official update command or App Store to confirm.
If additional results are missing, open Settings → Privacy → Online Services and review App Update Check. Disabled uses known update channels only; Enabled also uses Doinno’s update information.
Service unavailable
Wait and retry later without changing file permissions. Full Disk Access and Home Folder Access do not repair network service failures.
When reporting the problem, include the feature, time, diCleaner version, macOS version, network environment, and displayed error. Do not include private file contents.
