Choose diCleaner → Check for Updates… from the menu bar, or open diCleaner Settings → General.
What happens next depends on where diCleaner was installed:
- Direct edition: diCleaner checks its signed update feed. You can check manually and, when available, enable automatic checking or installation in General settings.
- Mac App Store edition: updates are managed by the App Store. Use Open App Store in General settings or update diCleaner from the App Store.
This check concerns only diCleaner. It does not scan other installed applications or inspect your documents.
Verify the installed version
Open diCleaner’s About window to see the installed version and build. Include these details with the macOS version when contacting support.
If an update is unavailable
Confirm that you are checking the same edition and release channel you installed. App Store review timing can differ from direct distribution, and beta version numbers may differ from public releases.
After updating, open the copy in Applications. If a scan becomes incomplete, review Settings → Privacy and confirm that macOS permissions still apply to the current copy.
Only install diCleaner updates from the App Store or the official Doinno update process.
To check other installed applications instead, open Applications → App Updates. That is a separate tool and does not update diCleaner itself.
