Container Temp
This folder stores temporary working files for CopyClip inside its macOS app container while the clipboard manager is running or processing data.
What is Container Temp?
~/Library/Containers/com.fiplab.clipboard/Data/tmp is the temporary-data folder used by CopyClip in its sandboxed macOS container. Apps place short-lived files here while they are running, updating internal data, or handing off work between app components. In normal use, users do not need to open this folder directly, and its contents can change automatically as the app works. Because this location is inside the app's container, it belongs to that app's private working area rather than your personal documents. If the folder is removed, macOS or the app can recreate it, but any temporary in-progress data stored there may be lost.

Safety overview
Status: Mostly safe
This is a temporary folder for a clipboard manager, so it may contain recently copied content or short-lived working data. Deleting the contents is usually low risk when CopyClip is closed, but removing files while the app is running can interrupt its current session or clear temporary clipboard-related data. Because clipboard tools can handle sensitive text, review the folder only if you are comfortable exposing copied information on your Mac.
Recommendation: Keep this folder if you still use CopyClip or want to avoid disrupting its current data. If you no longer use the app, or if you are clearing space and CopyClip is fully closed, you can remove the temporary contents and let macOS recreate the folder later if needed.
