What is Devices Simulator Data?
This folder is used by CoreSimulator, the Apple simulator framework used by Xcode and related developer tools. It contains per-simulator device data for simulated iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and other runtime environments. Developers commonly encounter it when building, testing, or debugging apps, because simulator app data, system state, logs, and runtime-specific files are stored here.

Removing data from this folder can delete simulator devices, installed test apps, app data, and simulator state. It usually does not affect your real Mac data, but it can disrupt Xcode workflows and force simulators to be recreated or re-downloaded.
Recommendation: Keep this if you use Xcode, Simulator, or other Apple development tools. If you no longer do Apple app development, or you want to reset simulator data, review its size and remove unused simulator content carefully, preferably after quitting Xcode and Simulator.
