What is CloudKit User Caches?
CloudKit is Apple’s cloud data framework used by many macOS and iOS apps to store and sync app data through iCloud. The folder at ~/Library/Caches/CloudKit typically holds temporary or reusable local cache data that helps CloudKit-backed apps load information faster and reduce repeated network requests.

Status: Mostly safe
This is generally cache data, so removing it is usually low risk, but CloudKit-backed apps may need to re-download or rebuild data afterward. Temporary syncing delays, higher network use, or slower first launches can happen until the cache is recreated.
Recommendation: You can usually leave this folder alone. If you are troubleshooting sync issues or reclaiming a small amount of space, removing the cache is typically reasonable after closing affected apps, but expect the data to be recreated automatically.
