Page editing lets you fix the order and orientation of a scan without recreating the whole document. The controls appear only after you tap a page in the PDF editor.
Steps
- Open the document in Documents.
- Tap the page you want to change. A colored outline and page controls appear.
- Use the up arrow to move the page one position earlier, or the down arrow to move it one position later. An arrow is hidden when the page cannot move farther in that direction.
- Tap the rotate button repeatedly until the page is upright.
- To remove the selected page, open its … menu and choose Delete Page.
- Read the Delete Page confirmation and choose Delete only if the correct page is selected.
- Check the page numbers and scroll through the PDF before leaving the editor.
Before you finish
- Moving a page changes its position by one place per tap.
- The current interface shows one rotate control. Continue tapping it to reach the required orientation.
- Delete Page removes only the selected page. Deleting a document from the Documents library removes the complete PDF.
- When a PDF has several similar-looking pages, use the displayed page numbers to verify the new order.
Tips
- Share or save a backup before making extensive edits to an important document.
- Use page content, not only thumbnails, to confirm duplicate pages.
