diScanner creates PDF documents from pages captured with the camera or images selected from Photos. Finished documents remain in Documents, where you can edit, rename, or share them later.

Steps

  1. Tap the large + button in the center of the tab bar.
  2. Allow camera access when iOS asks.
  3. Place the whole page inside the camera view with even light and minimal glare.
  4. Capture every page you need and review the crop offered by the system scanner.
  5. Finish the scan to create the PDF.
  6. Tap the filename at the top of the editor if you want to rename it.
  7. Return to Documents and confirm that every page is readable.

Before you finish

  • The Documents tab is your library. It shows saved PDFs with their update date and page count, and you can switch between list and grid views.
  • The center + button starts a new camera scan.
  • The + button in Documents lets you select existing photos and turn them into a PDF.
  • In an open PDF, the + button at the bottom of the page-thumbnail column scans pages and appends them to the end of the document.
  • To add a camera scan to an existing document, open that PDF and use Scan and insert before this page or Scan and insert after this page.
  • The Settings tab contains app information, support, and legal links.

Tips

  • Review important pages before deleting the originals.
  • Use short, descriptive document names so exported files are easy to recognize.
