Suggested Events is a built-in list of preset holidays. It does not analyze Contacts, Calendar, messages, or other personal data to generate suggestions.

Steps

  1. Tap the add button on the Birthdays screen.
  2. Choose Suggested Events.
  3. Review each holiday’s name, note, and calculated next date.
  4. Tap the + beside a holiday to add it.
  5. A green checkmark indicates that the preset is already in your list.
  6. Tap an already-added preset again if you want to remove it.
  7. Choose Close when finished.

Before you finish

  • Preset dates are calculated by diBirthday and can include fixed-date and calendar-based holidays.
  • Removing an item from Suggested Events removes the corresponding preset record from the birthday list.
  • A manually created record with the same name is not necessarily treated as the same preset.

Tips

  • Add only the holidays relevant to you.
  • Confirm region-specific holiday dates with an authoritative local source before relying on them for travel, business, or legal deadlines.
