Each birthday can schedule alerts on the day, one day before, one week before, or one month before. A new birthday starts with Remind on the day at 10:00 AM and Remind one week before enabled.
Steps
- Edit the birthday.
- Scroll to Reminder Option.
- Keep or change the default one-week reminder and select any other useful advance times.
- If Remind on the day is enabled, choose its delivery time.
- Save the birthday.
- In diBirthday Settings, confirm notifications are authorized.
Before you finish
- A reminder cannot appear if notifications are denied at the iOS level.
- The exact delivery time is based on the saved date, app scheduling logic, device time zone, and system notification service.
- Advance reminders use the app’s scheduled time; only the on-the-day option exposes a time picker.
Tips
- Use fewer, meaningful alerts to avoid notification fatigue.
- After changing date or reminder choices, save so requests can be rescheduled.
