Calendar and Reminders imports help reuse existing dated information. Because source titles and recurrence rules may not describe birthdays perfectly, review every imported result.

Steps

  1. Choose the appropriate import source.
  2. Grant access when iOS requests it.
  3. Select the source items that truly represent birthdays.
  4. Complete the import.
  5. Edit each new record to verify name, date, year, calendar, and reminder timing.

Before you finish

  • An imported event is copied into diBirthday rather than continuously linked.
  • Recurring source items can produce unexpected dates if their rules are unusual.
  • A general calendar event is not automatically known to be a birthday.

Tips

  • Avoid selecting unrelated anniversaries or appointments.
  • Check for duplicates before repeating an import.
