Retouch4me Dodge Burn
Retouch4me Dodge Burn is a macOS photo retouching app and plugin that automates dodge-and-burn skin correction for portrait editing workflows.
What is Retouch4me Dodge Burn?
Retouch4me Dodge Burn is a photo retouching tool for macOS that helps photographers and retouchers smooth uneven skin tones, soften shadows, and reduce distractions such as under-eye bags while keeping natural-looking texture. It is designed for portrait and beauty editing workflows where manual dodge-and-burn work can take significant time. The app is available as standalone software and as a Photoshop plug-in, so users can fit it into either quick batch-style edits or more detailed layered retouching. It can also export its result as a Soft Light layer for non-destructive finishing and further adjustment. Published by Oleg Sharonov, it is intended for users who want faster skin cleanup without replacing the rest of their normal editing process.

Safety overview
Status: Mostly safe
This is a legitimate creative tool for portrait retouching. It normally needs access to photos you choose to edit, and plug-in use inside a host editor is standard for this kind of software. Removing it may also remove related plug-in functionality from your editing workflow. As with any photo-editing tool, keep original images backed up before making large batch changes or replacing files.
Recommendation: Keep Retouch4me Dodge Burn if you actively edit portraits or rely on its automated skin-retouching workflow. If you no longer use it, removing it is generally reasonable, but you may lose standalone access and any plug-in-based workflow built around it.
