CADCraft
CADCraft is a native 2D CAD drafting app for macOS that helps users create and edit technical drawings with layers, dimensions, hatches, and layouts.
What is CADCraft?
CADCraft is a computer-aided design and drafting app for creating and editing 2D technical drawings on macOS. It is built for users who want an AutoCAD-style workflow with familiar tools such as a command line, object snaps, layers, dimensions, hatches, blocks, and paper-space layouts. The app works with common drawing formats including DXF and DWG, and it can export work to PDF, SVG, and PNG for sharing or printing. It also supports viewports, plotting, annotation tools, and parametric constraints for more structured drafting work. CADCraft is available as a native desktop app rather than a browser-only tool, and it is designed for drafting tasks such as floor plans, mechanical drawings, and other technical documentation. Learning Machines LLC publishes CADCraft as part of the ArtCraft app family.

Safety overview
Status: Mostly safe
CADCraft is legitimate drafting software. For its normal purpose, it may need access to drawings and export locations you choose, and those file-access requests are expected for CAD work. Removing the app can leave behind support files, caches, or preferences, and uninstalling it will also remove access to its drafting and export features until you reinstall it. If you use it for important project files, keep backups of your drawings in standard formats such as DXF or exported PDF copies.
Recommendation: Keep CADCraft if you use it for 2D drafting, technical drawings, or CAD file conversion and export. If you no longer use it, you can remove the app and later clean up leftover support files, but make sure any drawings or exported assets you want to keep are saved elsewhere first.
