Safety overview
Status: Mostly safe
Bonjourr Startpage is a legitimate browser start page product. For its normal purpose, it may access browsing-related settings needed to replace your new tab or start page and store your customization choices such as links, notes, layout, and backgrounds. That kind of access is typical for this category. As with any start page or browser companion, use only the options you want, avoid saving sensitive information in visible notes, and remove it if you no longer want it controlling your browser start experience.
Recommendation: Keep Bonjourr Startpage if you actively use it for your browser home or new tab page. If you do not use its custom start page features, removing it is reasonable and will mainly return your browser to its default start experience or disable Bonjourr-specific customizations.
