The World Clock screen starts with a Local Time card, followed by saved location cards and a vertical time slider. The sun or moon symbol and card tint provide day/night context for the selected moment.
How to use this information
- Read Local Time for the selected date and time in the device’s current time zone.
- Read each saved card for the location name, local date, local time, and difference from your current time zone.
- Tap + in the upper-right corner to add a city, country representative, or time-zone representative.
- Swipe left on a saved location card and tap Delete to remove it.
- Tap a saved location card to open its Information sheet with Location, Time Zone, Sun, and Moon sections.
- Tap the Local Time card or time to open Select Date & Time. Use the vertical slider for changes within the selected day, and tap Now to return to the live clock.
- Tap the gear in the upper-left corner to open Settings.
Important details
- Removing a location changes the app list and may affect the small configurable widget.
- Medium and large Location List widgets use the first two and first five saved locations respectively.
- In Settings, Place slider on the right changes which edge holds the time slider without changing any saved location.
- Use 24-Hour Time changes time formatting in the app and widgets. It does not change the selected date, time zone, or saved locations.
- On non-English devices, Show original English names can show the bundled English location names.
Practical tips
- Keep only the places you actually compare.
- Open details before scheduling an event near midnight.
