The World Clock screen contains two working areas at the same time: a date-and-time control with a vertical slider, and the Locations list of saved clocks. On a wider screen or when the slider-side setting changes, their left-to-right position can differ.
How to use this information
- Read each row in Locations for the city name, local date, local time, and its difference from your current time zone.
- Use the + beside Locations to add a city, country representative, or time-zone representative.
- Choose Edit to delete or reorder saved locations.
- Tap a location row to open its Information sheet with Location, Time Zone, Sun, and Moon sections.
- Use the calendar, vertical slider, and Now controls to compare all saved clocks at another moment.
Important details
- Removing a location changes the app list and may affect the small configurable widget.
- Changing the order also changes which locations appear in the medium and large Location List widgets.
- In Settings, Move the slider to the right changes the placement of the time controls without changing any saved city.
Practical tips
- Keep only the places you actually compare.
- Open details before scheduling an event near midnight.
