Quit both menu components and every diCleaner copy. Search Applications, Downloads, mounted disk images, and beta folders for duplicates.
Keep the intended edition in Applications. Eject installer images.
Open System Settings → General → Login Items & Extensions and remove obsolete duplicate entries when available.
Restart the Mac, then open only the retained copy and configure its menu settings.
If two icons remain, record the process names and app paths from Activity Monitor without terminating unrelated system processes.
