Add performance context
For a slow scan, include approximate file count, total size, thresholds, elapsed time, and the stage where progress changed.
Protect privacy
Redact user names, file names, email addresses, account details, network identifiers, and private paths unless essential.
Never send passwords, vault credentials, recovery secrets, authentication tokens, license keys, or private file contents.
Use a safe reproduction
When possible, reproduce with noncritical test files in a small folder. Do not repeat destructive failures on important data.
Preserve relevant logs until support confirms they are no longer needed.
