Open a vault
Select the expected vault and enter its credential in the supported interface. Stop if the location, name, or modification state is unexpected.
Do not enter the credential into an unrelated prompt or send it to support.
Work with files
Allow imports, exports, and writes to finish before locking or disconnecting storage. Avoid opening the same vault for conflicting writes from multiple app copies.
Lock and close
Close files opened from the vault, return to diCleaner, and use the lock or close action. Verify that protected contents are no longer browsable through the vault interface.
Lock before sleep, sharing the Mac, quitting diCleaner, or disconnecting its storage.
Access fails
Confirm the correct credential, keyboard layout, vault file, and storage availability. Do not repeatedly modify or rename vault internals.
Without valid credentials or supported recovery information, protected content may be unrecoverable.
