diCleaner includes focused tools for startup performance, system behavior, and local privacy.
Optimization tools
- Startup Items reviews apps, launch agents, and other items that run automatically.
- Memory shows memory use and offers supported maintenance actions.
- Visual Effects provides shortcuts to macOS appearance and animation settings.
- Right-Click Menu lets you choose and arrange context-aware Finder commands for creating, copying, organizing, converting, archiving, or scanning selected items.
The Finder menu requires its Finder extension to be enabled. Its optional keyboard shortcut uses the menu component and may request Automation access to read Finder’s current folder and selection.
Disabling a startup item does not uninstall its app. If an app stops providing a feature you rely on, re-enable its startup item.
Privacy tools
- Recent Items Cleanup removes selected recent-item history.
- Clipboard Cleanup previews and clears the item currently stored on the general macOS clipboard. It does not manage a multi-item clipboard history.
- Photo Metadata can review information embedded in photos.
- Shredder is intended for files you want to remove deliberately.
- Vault protects selected sensitive content locally.
Always review the scope shown by each tool. Synchronized files and secure deletion actions can have effects that cannot be undone.
