Why is the icon hidden?
The menu bar may lack space, or the component may not be running.
Why does it not start after login?
Review diCleaner Menu settings and macOS Login Items.
Do shortcuts clean automatically?
No. They open the related tool; review and confirmation still apply.
Why is a reading different from Overview?
Refresh timing and display rounding can differ.
Does uninstall monitoring remove files automatically?
No. It can offer a related-file review after a supported removal event.
Does turning off Clipboard History erase saved items?
No. It stops recording new clipboard changes. Use Clear in the clipboard-history window or Erase History… in Settings → Menu to remove non-favorite history.
Why did a favorite remain after clearing history?
Favorites are intentionally preserved when regular history is cleared or trimmed. Remove the item’s favorite status if you also want to delete it during a later clear.
Is Clipboard History the same as Clipboard Cleanup?
No. Clipboard History keeps supported recent items for reuse from the menu bar. Privacy → Clipboard Cleanup clears the current item on the general macOS clipboard.
Can I disable the component?
Disable launch behavior and quit it when you do not need menu access. The main application remains available.
Why are there two icons?
Duplicate app copies or login entries may be running. Keep one intended edition.
