The diCleaner menu-bar component provides quick system information and shortcuts without keeping the main window in front.
Open menu settings
- Open diCleaner Settings.
- Select Menu.
- Review the available menu-bar modules and behavior options.
- Enable only the information and shortcuts you want readily visible.
The exact items available can depend on edition and macOS support.
Configure clipboard history
Turn on Show Clipboard to add the Clipboard card to diCleaner Menu. Choose a retention option to begin recording recent clipboard items. The card lets you preview recent content, search history, keep Favorites, and copy an earlier item back to the macOS clipboard.
Use Erase History… to remove non-favorite history. Turning the feature off stops recording new items but does not by itself erase saved history.
See Use clipboard history from the menu bar for retention choices, clearing behavior, and privacy considerations.
Reduce menu-bar crowding
Show the most useful status rather than every available metric. macOS can hide icons when there is not enough space, especially on smaller displays or Macs with a camera housing.
If the icon appears missing, close menu-heavy apps, widen available space, or review macOS menu-bar settings.
Open the main app
Use the menu command or shortcut to show diCleaner. A tool shortcut opens the related interface; it does not silently confirm a deletion.
Start at login
If the supported option is enabled, macOS can launch the menu component when you sign in. Review it under System Settings → General → Login Items & Extensions if startup behavior differs from diCleaner Settings.
Disable launch at login when you do not need continuous menu access. You can still open diCleaner manually.
Restart the menu component
After changing permissions or if information stops refreshing, quit the menu component and reopen diCleaner. Restart the Mac if macOS retains an outdated login-item state.
