A photo or emoji makes people easier to identify in the list and widgets. It is optional.

Steps

  1. Create or edit a birthday.
  2. Tap the image or emoji control.
  3. Choose an emoji, or select an allowed photo.
  4. Crop or confirm the image when prompted.
  5. Save and inspect it in the list.

Before you finish

  • Choosing a photo may require Photos access. Limited access lets you expose only selected images.
  • Changing the picture does not modify the source image in Photos.

Tips

  • Use images you have permission to store.
  • Choose a simple crop that remains recognizable at widget size.
