The export command processes the complete diBirthday list. For every stored birthday, it creates an all-day event in the default calendar for new events with a title such as Alex’s Birthday.

Steps

  1. Review the complete Birthdays list before exporting.
  2. Open the main menu and choose the calendar export action.
  3. Grant Calendar access if iOS requests it.
  4. Wait for the Export Status message.
  5. Note how many birthdays succeeded and whether any failed.
  6. Open Apple Calendar and check the default calendar for new events.

Before you finish

  • Export creates separate Calendar events. Later edits or deletions in diBirthday do not update the exported events.
  • The command exports all current birthday records; it does not provide a per-person selection screen.
  • Running the export again can create duplicate Calendar events.
  • Events are saved to the system’s default calendar for new events. The current export flow does not ask you to choose a different calendar.

Tips

  • Before exporting, check the default calendar in iOS Calendar settings, especially if a shared or work calendar is configured.
  • Remove duplicate Calendar events in Calendar; deleting a birthday in diBirthday does not remove an exported event.
