What is XnView?
XnView is an image viewing and management application published by Pierre-Emmanuel Gougelet through XnSoft/XnView. On macOS, the current cross-platform edition is XnView MP, which is positioned as the modern successor to the older XnView Classic line. It is commonly used to browse photo folders, inspect metadata, compare images, run slideshows, and convert or rename files in batches. The software supports a very wide range of image and graphics formats, including many camera RAW and modern formats that the built-in macOS viewer may not handle as flexibly.
