It may request access to your microphone, audio devices, files, and plugin folders so you can record, save projects, load samples, and use instruments or effects. Those permissions are normal for a DAW. Before removing it, make sure any active projects, sample libraries, presets, or custom plugin settings you want to keep are backed up.
Recommendation: Keep Waveform if you use it for recording or music production, or if you have projects that depend on it. If you no longer use it, you can remove it after backing up your sessions, exported audio, presets, and any content you installed for your workflow.
