Vienna
Vienna is a native macOS feed reader that helps you subscribe to and organize RSS, Atom, and JSON news feeds in one place.
What is Vienna?
Vienna is a native macOS news-reading app for following RSS, Atom, and JSON feeds from websites, blogs, and online publications. It helps users collect updates in one desktop reader instead of checking many sites individually. Common uses include subscribing to news sources, tech blogs, podcasts with feed support, and personal or professional research feeds, then sorting items into folders or smart views for easier reading. Vienna also supports syncing with compatible Open Reader services, which is useful for people who read across devices or services. The app stores articles locally for browsing and managing subscriptions on Mac, and it includes tools for organizing unread items and reviewing feed activity. Vienna is published by Barijaona Ramaholimihaso as part of the Vienna RSS project.

Safety overview
Status: Safe
Vienna is a legitimate macOS feed reader. It normally needs internet access to refresh subscriptions and may store your feed database, preferences, and cached content in your user Library folders. If you connect it to a syncing service, your account details and reading data may be shared with that service as part of normal use. Keep it if you use RSS or Open Reader syncing, and remove its local data only if you no longer need your saved subscriptions or article history.
Recommendation: Keep Vienna if you use it to follow news feeds or sync reading across services. If you no longer use the app, you can remove it and optionally clean up its support files, which may delete saved subscriptions, cached articles, and local preferences.
