Tremotesf is a desktop BitTorrent management app for people who use Transmission in daemon mode and want a full graphical interface on macOS. Tremotesf is a legitimate remote-control client for Transmission. It needs network access to connect to your Transmission server, and any server credentials you enter are used for that connection. Because it can start, stop, remove, or reconfigure downloads on the remote server, use it only with servers you trust and review connection settings carefully before saving them. Removing the app from your Mac does not remove torrents from the remote server, but it can leave you without this desktop management interface.
Recommendation: Keep Tremotesf if you actively manage a Transmission server from your Mac or want a fuller desktop interface than the built-in web UI. If you no longer use Transmission remotely, you can remove it without affecting macOS, though you may also want to remove its saved settings afterward.
