SpyBuster is a macOS security and privacy utility published by MacPaw Labs LTD. MacPaw introduced it in 2022 as a tool for checking whether installed apps and active connections relate to servers in Russia or Belarus, and later expanded it with broader country-based monitoring options. Its documented capabilities include static analysis of installed apps, real-time connection monitoring, connection history, and blocking through a deny list. Release notes also describe features such as an interactive map of connections, offline static analysis, IPv6-aware detection, and automatic database updates. MacPaw announced on May 29, 2026 that SpyBuster would be sunset on July 1, 2026, with support and distribution ending on that date, although already installed copies can keep working until removed.
