That level of access is central to how the app works, but it also means the app can read sensitive personal information and take actions on your Mac if you approve or enable those features. Use it only if you want this kind of deep personal assistant workflow, limit the sources you connect, and review its permissions and suggested actions carefully.
Recommendation: Keep Sentient OS if you actively use its on-device AI assistant and task automation features on your Mac. If you installed it to test local AI and no longer use it, removing it is reasonable and may also let you revoke the broad permissions it relies on. Before depending on automated actions, spend time with its review controls and keep its connected data sources limited to what you are comfortable sharing with the app.
