Яндекс Телемост
Яндекс Телемост is a desktop video calling and online meeting app for macOS that lets people join conversations, chats, and shared calls from Yandex.
What is Яндекс Телемост?
Яндекс Телемост is a communication app for video meetings, voice calls, and messaging on macOS. It helps individuals, families, and teams stay in touch through scheduled or quick-start conversations from a desktop computer. The app supports joining meetings from shared links, signing in with a Yandex account, and using camera and microphone access for live calls. It is also available as part of the broader Yandex 360 ecosystem, so users may encounter it alongside other Yandex collaboration services. On Mac, it serves as a native desktop option for people who prefer calls outside the browser. This makes it useful for routine check-ins, online meetings, and keeping ongoing chats and calls together in one place.

Safety overview
Status: Mostly safe
This is legitimate communication software from Yandex for calls, meetings, and chat. It normally needs access to your microphone and camera, and notifications may be useful for incoming calls or messages. Those requests are expected for a video communication app, but you should still grant only the permissions you want it to use. Removing the app will stop its desktop calling and meeting features on this Mac.
Recommendation: Keep Яндекс Телемост if you use Yandex for meetings, calls, or chat on your Mac. If you no longer use the service, you can remove the app to free space and reduce background notifications without affecting macOS itself.
