Post-it®
Post-it® is a digital note and brainstorming app for capturing paper sticky notes, organizing ideas into boards, and sharing them across devices.
What is Post-it®?
Post-it® is a productivity app for capturing physical sticky notes, creating digital notes, and organizing ideas on visual boards. It is designed for brainstorming, planning, reminders, school work, and team collaboration on Mac and other supported devices. Users can photograph Post-it® Notes, turn them into editable digital notes, rearrange them on boards, group ideas, and export or share results with other apps and services. The app also supports syncing across Apple devices through iCloud and offers collaboration features for shared idea sessions. Publisher support materials note that the Post-it® App was retired and removed from app stores in 2026, so existing installations are mainly relevant for accessing or exporting older note boards and saved content.

Safety overview
Status: Mostly safe
This is a legitimate note-taking and collaboration app. Access to the camera, photos, and cloud syncing can be normal for capturing sticky notes and keeping boards available across devices. The main practical concern is continuity: the Post-it® App has been retired, removed from app stores, and can no longer be reinstalled, so deleting it may also cut off access to saved boards unless you already exported them. If you still use it, keep local copies of any important notes in standard formats such as PDF or other exports you can open without the app.
Recommendation: Keep Post-it® only if you still need access to existing boards or exported note workflows. If it is installed on a Mac you actively use, export any important content first and then decide whether to keep it for reference or remove it once your notes are safely saved elsewhere.
