Plugin Happyneuron

What is Plugin Happyneuron?

Plugin Happyneuron is a macOS companion component for HappyNeuron Pro. It is used when a clinician installs certain programs from the HappyNeuron Pro web platform and needs local software support to download, install, or open those programs on a Mac. HappyNeuron Pro is designed for trained clinicians working with patients in cognitive rehabilitation, remediation, and stimulation workflows. Users typically encounter the plugin during setup from the Manage My Programs area of their account, after which they can access compatible installed activities from the platform. On macOS, it functions as a helper for specific program delivery rather than as a general-purpose standalone app.

Key features

• Download required local components for compatible HappyNeuron Pro programs
• Install supported therapy programs from the HappyNeuron Pro web platform
• Launch locally installed programs from a clinician workflow
• Work alongside browser-based HappyNeuron Pro use on Mac
• Support access to selected activities that require local installation

Safety overview

Status: Mostly safe

This plugin is part of the normal HappyNeuron Pro workflow for programs that need local installation on a Mac. It is intended for clinical use, so users should be mindful of any patient-related information they handle in the broader platform and follow their organization’s privacy practices. Removing the plugin can stop installed HappyNeuron programs from opening or updating correctly until it is installed again.

Recommendation: Keep Plugin Happyneuron if you use HappyNeuron Pro programs that install locally on your Mac. If you no longer use those programs, you can remove it, but expect related activities in HappyNeuron Pro to stop launching until the plugin is reinstalled.
