What is Paste?

Paste is a clipboard history utility for macOS published by wiheads. People use it to keep a searchable history of copied content, pin frequently used snippets, and quickly paste previously copied text, links, images, and other clipboard items across apps.

Safety overview

Status: Mostly safe

This appears to be a legitimate productivity application rather than a system component. Because clipboard managers can store sensitive copied data such as passwords, codes, or personal information, review its permissions, stored history, and sync settings before deciding whether to keep it.

Recommendation: Keep it if you actively use clipboard history or pinned snippets. Remove it if you do not use clipboard management, but review any stored clipboard history or synced data first because it may contain sensitive information you copied in the past.
