It needs access to files, photos, and backup destinations to do its job, so prompts for photo library or file access are normal for this kind of app. Because backup tools can copy large amounts of personal data, use a destination you trust and make sure any external drive or network location has enough space before running scheduled backups. Removing the app stops future backups but does not automatically remove copies it already created.
