Nik Collection 6 Uninstall
Nik Collection 6 Uninstall is the uninstaller component used to remove DxO's Nik Collection 6 photo editing suite from a Mac.
What is Nik Collection 6 Uninstall?
Nik Collection 6 Uninstall is the removal utility associated with Nik Collection 6 by DxO Labs on macOS. Nik Collection is a desktop photo editing suite used by photographers and image editors for creative effects, black-and-white conversion, color grading, sharpening, noise reduction, and local adjustments. It can run as a standalone set of tools and also integrates with host apps such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom Classic, Affinity Photo, and DxO PhotoLab. On a Mac, users typically encounter this uninstaller when they want to remove Nik Collection 6, reinstall it cleanly, or troubleshoot plugin integration issues. Its role is administrative rather than creative: it helps take the suite off the system so related apps and plugins are no longer available until Nik Collection is installed again.

Safety overview
Status: Safe
This is a legitimate uninstaller for DxO's Nik Collection 6. Running it is a normal way to remove the suite, but it can also remove plug-ins and integrations used in supported photo-editing apps. Use it only when you intend to uninstall or reset Nik Collection 6, and close related editing apps first to avoid interrupting active work.
Recommendation: Keep this item only if you still use Nik Collection 6 or want an easy way to remove it later. If you no longer use Nik Collection 6, removing the suite with its uninstaller is a reasonable cleanup step, but expect Nik plug-ins and related editing features to stop working afterward.
