MARKETSPEED
MARKETSPEED is a macOS trading app from Rakuten Securities for monitoring Japanese stocks, charts, rankings, news, and placing orders.
What is MARKETSPEED?
MARKETSPEED is a native macOS trading app designed for Rakuten Securities customers who trade Japanese equities. It helps investors watch market prices in real time, review technical charts, follow rankings and news, and place stock orders from a desktop workspace built for active monitoring. The app is aimed at users who prefer a Mac-based trading workflow instead of a browser-only experience. Common use cases include tracking multiple symbols during market hours, comparing chart views, checking market-moving headlines, and submitting domestic stock trades. It is primarily a finance app for hands-on investing and market analysis on Mac.

Safety overview
Status: Mostly safe
This is legitimate brokerage software used for stock trading on Mac. It may display account information, portfolio details, watchlists, and trading activity, so the main practical risk is financial and privacy exposure if someone else can access your Mac or brokerage session. Keep macOS, the app, and your account security settings up to date, and use it only on a device you trust for financial activity.
Recommendation: Keep MARKETSPEED if you use Rakuten Securities on your Mac for market monitoring or trading. Remove it if you no longer use this brokerage workflow, but expect to lose quick access to its saved layouts, watchlists, and desktop trading tools until you reinstall and sign in again.
