La Presse+
La Presse+ is a French-language news app for iPad and Apple silicon Mac that delivers a daily digital edition with offline reading and interactive content.
What is La Presse+?
La Presse+ is a news-reading app that gives readers access to a daily French-language digital edition from La Presse. It is designed for people who want to follow current events, business, culture, sports, and other general-interest coverage in a magazine-style reading experience. On Mac with Apple silicon, it extends the tablet edition to the desktop while keeping the same focus on curated daily reading. The app includes rich visual presentation with photos, videos, graphics, and other interactive editorial elements. Readers can save articles, return to earlier editions, and continue reading after downloading content for offline access. It is best suited to users who regularly read French-language journalism and want a dedicated app rather than a browser-based news workflow.

Safety overview
Status: Safe
La Presse+ is a legitimate news app. Network access, notifications, and local storage for downloaded editions are normal for its purpose. If you sign in or save content, the app may store reading-related data and account information needed to sync your experience. Keep it if you use it for daily reading, and review notification and privacy settings if you want less tracking or fewer alerts.
Recommendation: Keep La Presse+ if you read La Presse on your Mac or iPad and want its dedicated daily edition experience. If you no longer use it, removing the app should mainly affect your downloaded editions, saved reading state, and notification preferences on this device.
