That behavior matches its purpose, yet users should still be careful about which IPA files they install, because sideloaded apps can bypass normal App Store review. If you use it, sign in only through the app’s normal Apple authentication flow, review any requested device access, and avoid installing untrusted packages or modified apps from unknown sources.
Recommendation: Keep Impactor if you actively sideload apps to iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, or Apple Silicon Mac devices. If you no longer use sideloading, removing it should only affect those workflows and any refresh tasks you relied on.
