Greenchoice

What is Greenchoice?

Greenchoice is an energy account management app for customers of the Dutch energy provider Greenchoice. It helps users check electricity and gas usage, view contracts and invoices, submit meter readings, and manage account details without using the full website. The app is designed for everyday household account tasks, especially for people who want quick access to consumption data and billing information on the go. Greenchoice also offers app-based services around charging, but its core customer app centers on account access and energy insights. Users will typically encounter it as a companion to their Greenchoice customer account on iPhone or Android rather than as a general-purpose Mac desktop application.

Key features

• View electricity and gas usage with graphs and time-based insights
• Check contracts, invoices, and other account billing details
• Submit meter readings from the app
• Update account information and payment-related settings
• Access customer account tools without using the full website

Safety overview

Status: Mostly safe

This is a legitimate customer app for managing an energy account. Access to account details, usage history, and billing information is normal for that purpose. If you use it, protect your account with a strong password and the provider's available sign-in protections, especially because the app can expose personal account and payment-related information.

Recommendation: Keep Greenchoice if you actively manage a Greenchoice energy account from your phone or tablet. If you no longer use that service, removing the app is usually fine and mainly means losing quick mobile access to usage, bills, and account tools.
