Funky Mirror
Funky Mirror is a macOS webcam effects app that lets you apply playful visual filters to your camera feed.
What is Funky Mirror?
Funky Mirror is a native macOS camera app focused on adding fun visual filters to your webcam. It is designed for users who want a lightweight way to change how they look on camera for casual use, experimentation, or entertainment. Common uses include trying out playful distortions and effects before or during informal video moments, recordings, or personal camera sessions. The app is listed by Glaze in its app catalog as a webcam filter tool, which places it in the utilities and media-helper space rather than a full video editor. Users will typically interact with it as a simple effect app instead of a complex production workflow tool.

Safety overview
Status: Mostly safe
This kind of app normally needs access to your camera to show live webcam effects, and that access is expected for its purpose. If you use it, grant only the permissions you want it to have and review camera access in macOS Privacy & Security settings if you no longer need it. Removing the app should mainly affect its own filters and saved app data.
Recommendation: Keep Funky Mirror if you use webcam effects or enjoy playful camera filters on your Mac. If you do not use it, you can remove it to free a small amount of space and reduce unused camera-enabled apps on your system.
