French Today
French Today is a macOS language-learning app for reading and listening to French Today audiobooks and library articles in one place.
What is French Today?
French Today is a macOS education app for accessing French Today audiobooks and subscription library articles. It helps learners read along with transcripts while listening to recorded French, making it useful for study at home, on the go with a laptop, or during focused listening practice. The app organizes purchased content in a single library, supports online access for reading and listening, and lets users download content for offline use when needed. Users can control playback speed, move backward or forward in the audio, and hide English translations to increase the challenge level as their skills improve. The reading view is designed around study-friendly navigation, including remembering where you left off in audio and text. French Today publishes the app as a companion to its French-learning courses and audio materials.
