Foresight is legitimate Google software and its local AI processing is consistent with its note-taking purpose. Expect it to request access to the microphone and system audio so it can listen to meetings, and possibly access to files you choose to index for search and recall. Those permissions are normal for this kind of app, but the content it processes can be sensitive, so use it thoughtfully in confidential conversations and review what material you allow it to index.
Recommendation: Keep Foresight if you actively use it for meeting notes, transcript recall, or local document search. If you do not use its note-taking and indexing features, removing it is reasonable and should mainly affect the app’s saved notes, transcripts, and local search library.
