What is Earth 3D – World Wonders?
Earth 3D – World Wonders is a native Mac screensaver and live wallpaper app for turning the desktop into an animated view of Earth from space and near the surface. It is designed for users who want a visual desktop backdrop rather than a productivity tool, and it can also switch into screensaver mode when the Mac is idle. The app presents a rotating 3D globe with day and night cycles, cloud cover, starry skies, and an original soundtrack. Its World Wonders content adds global landmarks, cultural scenes, animals, birds, marine life, and vegetation to create a richer travel-and-nature themed display. Multi-monitor support and low-altitude views make it useful for larger desktop setups or users who enjoy ambient visual customization. 3Planesoft offers it as an entertainment app for macOS.

Safety overview
Status: Mostly safe
This is a legitimate visual desktop app for macOS. Its normal behavior includes drawing animated wallpaper or screensaver content and using graphics resources while it runs, so users may notice higher battery or GPU use on some Macs during long sessions. If you prefer a quieter setup, close it when not in use or disable any optional background wallpaper behavior. The App Store listing also notes analytics, usage data, and diagnostics that are not linked to your identity, which is common for app improvement.
Recommendation: Keep it if you enjoy animated desktop wallpapers or screensavers. If you do not use visual desktop effects, you can remove it without affecting macOS beyond losing its wallpaper, screensaver, and related in-app content.
