Safety overview

Status: Mostly safe

Dr.Web Light is antivirus software, so it may scan files you download or choose to check, and background protection activity is normal for that purpose. Security apps can affect performance during scans and may quarantine files that you need to review before restoring or deleting them. Keep the app updated and review any detected items carefully before taking action.

Recommendation: Keep Dr.Web Light if you use it for malware scanning or background protection on your Mac. Remove it only if you no longer want this antivirus app and already rely on another security tool or your preferred protection setup.
