Connectix 12

What is Connectix 12?

Connectix 12 is a Mac integration utility for Antidote that helps you use Druide’s writing and language tools directly from compatible software. It installs locally on macOS and detects supported applications on your Mac, then lets you add the connectors needed to launch Antidote from those apps. This makes it useful for people who write in browsers, email apps, office tools, editors, and other supported programs instead of working only inside Antidote itself. Connectix also provides access to integration settings, guidance for compatible software, and menu bar controls through the Antidote Agent. On Mac, it is part of the workflow for using Antidote 12 with local apps and for linking Antidote Web to software installed on your computer.

Key features

• Detect compatible software installed on your Mac
• Add connectors so Antidote works inside supported apps
• Launch Antidote from local applications and integrated workflows
• Manage integration settings and default Antidote behavior
• Use the Antidote Agent from the menu bar for quick access
• Choose whether links open Antidote 12 locally or Antidote Web in a browser

Safety overview

Status: Safe

This utility is a normal part of the Antidote integration workflow on Mac. It may request access needed to connect with supported apps, and some integrations can rely on standard macOS features such as Accessibility so Antidote can be launched from other software. Keep it if you use Antidote with browsers, editors, email, or office apps; removing it can disable those integrations and the Antidote Agent menu.

Recommendation: Keep Connectix 12 if you use Antidote 12 or Antidote Web with other Mac apps. Remove it only if you no longer use Antidote integrations, and expect launch options, connectors, and menu bar access to stop working afterward.
