Safety overview
Status: Mostly safe
This is a legitimate media app for watching and organizing personal video libraries. Access to files, network locations, cloud drives, or local media folders is normal for its purpose, and those connections may expose library names, playback history, and related media metadata inside the app. If you connect cloud storage or home media servers, use only sources you trust and review what accounts or folders you have linked.
Recommendation: Keep 网易爆米花 if you use it to manage or watch videos from local storage, cloud drives, NAS, or media servers. If you no longer use it, you can remove it like other Mac apps; doing so may disconnect your linked libraries on this Mac and remove locally stored app data such as cache or playback history.
