BaiduNetdisk
BaiduNetdisk is Baidu's cloud storage app for macOS, used to upload, download, store, and share files through a Baidu Netdisk account.
What is BaiduNetdisk?
BaiduNetdisk is a cloud storage and file transfer app for macOS that helps users keep files in Baidu Netdisk and access them across devices. It is designed for people who use Baidu's online storage service to back up documents, photos, videos, and other personal or work files, then download or share them when needed. On Mac, the app is commonly used for manual uploads and downloads, account-based access to stored files, and sharing links with other people. Baidu also documents sync-related workflows in its Netdisk help materials, which makes the service useful for moving files between local storage and the cloud. This app fits users who already rely on Baidu's ecosystem, especially when collaborating or exchanging large files with other Baidu Netdisk users.

Safety overview
Status: Mostly safe
BaiduNetdisk is legitimate cloud storage software. It normally needs network access and access to files you choose to upload, download, or manage, which is expected for this type of app. Because it handles cloud-stored files and account sign-in, use the app only with an account you trust and review what folders or files you choose to transfer. If you no longer use Baidu Netdisk, removing the app may also remove convenient access to files stored in your account from this Mac.
Recommendation: Keep BaiduNetdisk if you actively use Baidu Netdisk for cloud storage, downloads, or file sharing on your Mac. If you no longer use the service, you can remove the app; your cloud files stay in your account, but you will lose this Mac's direct desktop access until you reinstall or use the web service.
