If you use import features or automation, it may also interact with files you choose and with Shortcuts. Keep the app only if you actively organize photos in Apple Photos, and be mindful that removing it will not remove your photo library but will remove its faster album-management tools.
Recommendation: Keep AlbumFiler if you regularly manage large Apple Photos libraries or want quicker keyboard-based album filing. If you no longer use Apple Photos or do not need its search and organization tools, you can remove the app without affecting the core Photos app itself.
