Aissia is legitimate Mac productivity software, but it can request sensitive permissions such as Microphone, Accessibility, Input Monitoring, and optionally Screen Recording so it can dictate text, clean up typing, and work with on-screen content. Local dictation stays on the Mac, while optional AI features can send selected text or active-window text to the AI service you choose. Use those cloud features carefully when working with private messages, documents, or meeting content, and only record meetings with everyone’s consent.
Recommendation: Keep Aissia if you use voice dictation, text cleanup, or its AI writing tools on your Mac. If you no longer use it, you can remove the app and its related support files; doing so may delete local history, learned corrections, and meeting data stored by the app.
