Adobe Premiere Rush
Adobe Premiere Rush is a video editing app for creating, trimming, enhancing, and sharing short-form videos across desktop and mobile devices.
What is Adobe Premiere Rush?
Adobe Premiere Rush is a photo and video editing app built for making and sharing online videos with a simpler workflow than full desktop editors. It helps creators, students, marketers, and casual video makers assemble clips, trim scenes, add titles, adjust color, and clean up audio in one project. The app is available on macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android, with cross-device workflows that let users move between desktop and mobile editing. Premiere Rush includes a timeline-based editor, export and sharing tools, and support for motion graphics templates and Adobe Stock content. Adobe has discontinued Premiere Rush for new downloads, but existing installations may still be present on a Mac and used in environments where it remains installed.

Safety overview
Status: Mostly safe
Adobe Premiere Rush is legitimate creative software. It may request access to files, photos, camera, microphone, or media folders when you import footage, record clips, or export projects, which is normal for a video editor. If you still use saved projects or linked media, removing the app can interrupt editing workflows and leave you without access to in-app settings or cloud-connected project features. Before uninstalling, make sure any important videos, exports, and source files are saved where you can access them independently.
Recommendation: Keep Adobe Premiere Rush if you still edit video projects with it or need access to older Rush workflows. If you no longer use it, removing it is reasonable, especially since the product has been discontinued for new downloads. Export or back up any active projects and source media first so you do not lose work you still want to revisit.
