AddressBook Aid2 Trial
AddressBook Aid2 Trial is a macOS contact-editing app that helps you manage, clean up, compare, and bulk-edit data stored in Apple Contacts.
What is AddressBook Aid2 Trial?
AddressBook Aid2 Trial is a native macOS productivity app for editing and maintaining the contact database used by Apple Contacts. It is designed for people who need more control than the standard Contacts app provides, especially when working with large address books, correcting repeated formatting issues, or reviewing duplicate entries. The app offers table-style editing, search and replace, sorting, side-by-side comparison of contacts, and batch changes across selected fields. It also supports importing and exporting vCard and CSV files, which can help with contact cleanup, migration, and backup workflows. QR code display and custom field handling make it useful for users who manage business cards, shared directories, or structured contact data. This trial edition is provided by Goldbug Software for Mac users who want to test the app before deciding whether to keep the full product.

Safety overview
Status: Mostly safe
This app needs access to your contacts to do its job, which is normal for contact-editing software. Contact information is sensitive personal data, so only keep the app if you use it and make a backup before performing large batch edits or duplicate cleanup. The developer states that the app does not send contact data to outside servers, but any app with contact access should still be used thoughtfully.
Recommendation: Keep AddressBook Aid2 Trial if you actively use it to edit or organize contacts on your Mac. If you no longer need its contact-management tools, you can remove it; the main effect is losing its advanced editing features and any app-specific settings.
